                                      SENIOR CENTER ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR                                                 

Lawrence Township, Cumberland County, is accepting applications/resumes, for the part time position of Senior Center Activities Director, 4 days, 20 hours per week. Duties: Organizes daily activities, Coordinate Cumberland County Nutrition Program, and Exercise Programs, prepare various reports on programs. Basic computer knowledge required.  Applications available at the Lawrence Township Municipal Building, 357 Main Street, Cedarville, NJ.  Interested candidates must return completed application/resume in person on or before 4:00 pm on Wednesday    December 1, 2021. Lawrence Township is an equal opportunity employer.

Cumberland County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Available for Review

As of September 8th, the Preliminary Draft Appendix for your community’s portion of the Cumberland County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan Update (CC HMPU) will be available for review on the project website: https://cchmpu21.com/documents.

There will be a separate Appendix for each of the participating municipalities available for download.

This review period will close on Friday, October 1st. However, please be aware there will be additional opportunities to participate in the update of the plan.

Lawrence Township is located in the central part of southern Cumberland County. It includes an abundance of productive farmland, beautiful natural areas, including streams, lakes and wetlands and the village of Bay Point on the Delaware Bay.  The unincorporated historic village of Cedarville is the commercial, residential and governmental center of this Township that covers 38.5 sq. miles.
